Serving families in need since 1982
Our mission is to help families experiencing homelessness become self-sufficient by providing them with stable housing while addressing the root causes of their homelessness so that they never become homeless again.

Our Vision
By collaborating with other agencies and members of the community, Nicholas House seeks to ensure that family homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring in metro Atlanta.
Our Programs

Emergency Shelter
The Boulevard Emergency Shelter provides families a safe place to stabilize and sleep at night. Residents receive food and other necessities while we work with them to increase their income and secure permanent housing.

Homeless to Homes (H2H)
Homeless to Homes is an apartment-based rapid rehousing program for homeless families with some income, but not enough to pay full rent.

Home Again
Home Again is a rapid rehousing + homelessness prevention program for families with enough income to pay rent, but who are in need of initial help.

New Horizons
New Horizons program is a permanent supportive housing program for consistently homeless families with no income, plus additional barriers in the form of a disability.

Rental Assistance
Nicholas House provides a limited amount of rental assistance funding to families each month.
